Generally speaking, we invest in companies with $25-250 million in revenue operating in industries with tailwinds propelling future growth.
Investment Criteria
ClearLight is currently investing out of its 3rd fund and is actively seeking long-term partnerships with outstanding companies meeting the following criteria:
| Investment Types | • Investments to acquire all or part of a company • Management-led build-ups and industry consolidations • Growth capital |
| Company Characteristics | • Strong management team in place • History of growth and profitability • Strong underlying fundamentals; low capital intensity • $4 – $15 million in Operating Income / EBITDA |
| Investment Size | • $10 – $50 million of equity • ClearLight can also provide mezzanine financing with its equity investment |
| Geography | • Companies based in the U.S. or Canada |
